Carton House, Maynooth, Ireland: listed building refurbishment

This project was part refurbishment of a listed existing building and part new build.

We advised on the difficult sound insulation problems between rooms in the existing building and in the new build, including the tricky issue of how to insulate residents’ rooms from the playing of the historic pipe organ.

We also provided advice on the protection of hotel bedrooms from function room noise and from noise on the external terrace.
