The Briggait Arts Centre, Glasgow

New Acoustics is pleased to announce that Phase 1 of the Briggait re-development is complete and has been handed over to WASPS (Workshop and Artists' Studio Provision Scotland).

The £7 million redevelopment of this Grade-A listed former fishmarket into a modern arts venue and home for more than 70 visual' artists studios started on site in August 2008 and was handed over on December 1, 2009.

Phase 2 of the project aimed at using the remaining space for Glasgow’s first dedicated Circus & Dance facility is under way now.
